This song I wrote for the #4Syria project, last Spring. I now turned it into a proper Ro Halfhide production.
The song is about the dramatic refugee problem we're facing in Europe. No borders!

remember the things so strong and sad
you know how I forget the past
to get in your car and drive

I'm content
you are my only friend
maybe I've been sad
give me the feeling I have had
I want the song of love too bad
to get this far alive

verse:
you know nothing about my situation clearly you don't

think of all the times I moved from one place to one beyond

it started in Syria then on to Jordan and to Egypt
from Egypt to Sudan is dangerous but it's quite a trip
I went on foot, by car, on horseback but never a train
and the boat leaving from Lybia I'll never take again

I know it's hard to look at me, you see
